Quick answer: Fax USAA auto and property claim documents to 800-531-8669. If you’re a member, put your name and member number at the top of every page. If you’re the other driver, claiming against a USAA member, put your name and your claim number instead. Policy paperwork that isn’t for a claim goes to a different fax, 800-531-8877.

USAA’s claim help lists My Claims Center first for photos and paperwork, but its support page names 800-531-8669 as the claims fax for auto and property insurance, and its member and third-party auto claim help both print it. For the other driver it matters more. USAA’s third-party help doesn’t mention uploads at all, which leaves fax and email as the written routes.

If you’re a USAA member

USAA asks for your name and member number at the top of each fax page, not just the first. The other two routes USAA lists both start in My Claims Center, on usaa.com or in the USAA Mobile App: upload the files there, or email your adjuster at the address shown there. Uploads get a confirmation in My Claims Center. For a fax, keep the delivery report from your end: it shows what went and when.

Two USAA faxes sit side by side on its support page. The claims fax is 800-531-8669; 800-531-8877 is the general fax for auto and property insurance, and USAA doesn’t list it for claims. To mail instead, US auto and property claims go to USAA Claims Service, P.O. Box 33490, San Antonio, TX 78265. Members in Europe and the UK have their own claims addresses on the same page.

A total loss adds paperwork from someone else. If your lender holds the car’s title, USAA asks you to give the lender permission to release it, along with your loan payoff information.

Claiming against a USAA member

Third-party claims can be filed online at usaa.com, and the claim gets a number. That number replaces the member number on every faxed page. USAA’s third-party help lists two other ways in: email to the address your adjuster gives you, or a call to 800-531-8722.

A repair estimate or a rental receipt: each page goes to 800-531-8669 with your name and that claim number written on it. Municorn Fax photographs the pages with your phone’s camera, sends them, and saves the delivery report. Your first single-page fax is a free test. Insured with someone else?
