Quick answer: Rocket Mortgage has one fax number, and it’s only for disputes: (972) 315-8637, for qualified written requests, information requests and notices of error. Everything else, from mortgage assistance documents to proof of insurance, goes through your Rocket Account, by phone or by mail. That includes loans that used to be with Mr. Cooper.

Rocket’s main help pages and FAQs list no fax at all. The number appears on its Disclosures and Licenses page, linked from the footer of rocketmortgage.com, under the heading for servicing concerns. Rocket says these “must be sent to the address below”, and prints the fax with it.

If your loan was with Mr. Cooper

Mr. Cooper’s website is now a single page that says “Mr. Cooper is now part of Rocket Mortgage” and “mrcooper.com has been retired”. It sends former customers to sign in to, or create, a Rocket account, and gives the phone number (800) 4-ROCKET. Rocket’s FAQ tells former Mr. Cooper clients that their loan number, payment address and loan terms stay the same.

Neither site says whether Mr. Cooper’s old fax numbers still reach anyone, and Rocket doesn’t list them. Use Rocket’s routes above. Mr. Cooper’s page also warns that loans paid off before February 2026 may not be available online, so call if you need records for one of those.

Using the dispute fax

A qualified written request or notice of error is how you formally tell a servicer it made a mistake, or ask it for information about your loan. Regulation X, §1024.35 lets a servicer name one address for these, and Rocket names the Dallas P.O. Box and fax above. Once the notice arrives, Rocket has five business days to acknowledge it and, for most errors, 30 days to answer.

Put your loan number, your name and the property address at the top, say what went wrong or what you’re asking for, and attach copies of anything that supports it. Questions about the account in general go to the phone numbers above, not this fax.

For a notice of error, Municorn Fax scans your letter and supporting pages and sends them to (972) 315-8637, then keeps the delivery report as proof of the date Rocket received it. Other servicers that print more fax numbers: Carrington and Pennymac.
