Quick answer: To fax a Singapore number from abroad, dial your exit code (011 from the US or Canada, 00 from the UK and most of Europe), then 65, then the eight-digit number — there are no area codes. The simplest way to send from Singapore or to it is online: Municorn Fax sends to Singapore with no per-page surcharge, at S$14.98 a week on the Singapore App Store. If you need a +65 number of your own, that’s a different question, and Municorn Fax isn’t the answer — see below.

Plenty of pages about faxing Singapore are written by a fax service selling you a fax to Singapore. We’ve reviewed more than a dozen fax services hands-on, and several of those reviews ran straight into the things that make an international fax cost more than it should. Billing by the minute. Pages that count double. Number fields that refuse a foreign number. Those findings are below, next to what each service charged to fax Singapore when we checked in October 2026.

Singapore Fax Numbers, Decoded

Singapore numbers are eight digits with no area codes, so a fax number in Jurong looks exactly like one in the CBD. Fixed lines start with a 6. Mobiles start with 8 or 9, and numbers starting with 3 are business internet lines. The country code is 65.

UK and most of Europe00 + 65 + number00 65 6XXX XXXX
An online fax app+65 + number, or pick Singapore from the list+65 6XXX XXXX

Faxing out of Singapore from a landline works the other way round: an international access code first (SingTel lines use 001), then the country code. An online service fills all of that in for you, which is most of the reason to use one. If you’re still unsure about a format, our guide to international faxing has a number formatter that builds it for you.

Sending a Fax to or From Singapore With Your Phone

The steps are the same whether you’re in Singapore or faxing in from somewhere else.

  1. Install the app

Get Municorn Fax from the App Store or Google Play. On the Singapore App Store it’s S$14.98 a week, S$44.98 a month or S$368.98 a year (checked October 2026); on Android it’s billed through Google Play, where prices vary. There’s no free trial, but you can send one free single-page test fax first.

  2. Pick Singapore as the destination

Start a new fax and tap the country flag. Singapore (+65) is in the list, so you type only the eight digits and the app adds the code.

  3. Add your pages

Scan paper with the camera or attach a PDF, Word file or photo from your phone or cloud storage. Add a cover sheet if the recipient expects one.

  4. Send and keep the receipt

The fax goes out over the internet. When it lands you get a Delivered status with a timestamp, which is your proof of sending. Faxing abroad costs nothing extra: sending is unlimited on every plan.

Prefer a computer? EveryFax does the same from a browser on any computer or straight from your email address, sends to Singapore within its plans, and has a two-week free trial.

What Our Reviews Found About Faxing Abroad

Every service in this table has been through our hands-on testing, and the right-hand column is what that testing turned up about international faxing. The cost column is newer: we checked each provider’s own pages for its Singapore price in October 2026. Prices change, so treat them as a starting point rather than a quote.

ServiceCost to fax Singapore+65 numberWhat we found
Municorn Fax Included in every plan No (US and Canadian numbers only) Sending abroad costs nothing extra, which is the whole point of a flat plan if you fax Singapore often.
EveryFax Included in the plan Not stated Same network as Municorn Fax, from a browser or your inbox.
Fax.Plus Per its pricing; some destinations count as more than one page Yes, local +65 numbers listed From our review: “for many countries you will have to pay extra and provide ID” to get a local number.
eFax Extra per-region charge on top of the plan Not stated From our review: if a page takes “60 seconds or more to send, it gets charged as 2 pages instead of 1”. We only found out after paying.
GotFreeFax US$0.285 a page, prepaid Not stated The free tier covers the US and Canada only. Our review found its international price cheaper than FaxZero’s.
FaxZero US$2.09 a fax, up to 15 pages No From our review: “We also struggled to enter an international fax number – the website kept telling us it was invalid.”

Two more from our reviews are worth knowing before you fax anywhere far away. MyFax, our tester noted, “charges customers 1 page for every minute of the transmission – not for every page” on international faxes, and our domestic test was already slow. SRFax charges per page for international sends, from 5 cents to as much as $6.61 depending on the destination. If a fax to Singapore transmits slowly, anything billed by the minute, or that doubles a slow page, will cost more than the headline price suggests.

Need a Singapore (+65) Fax Number?

Municorn Fax lets you send and receive faxes on a number in any US or Canadian area code, and that’s it. You can send to Singapore all day, and people in Singapore can fax you, but they’ll be dialling an international number to do it.

If you need a local +65 number, so that Singapore clients and agencies can fax you as a local call, Fax.Plus lists Singapore among the countries where it sells local numbers. Our review found that for many countries that means paying extra and providing ID, so budget for both. For everyone else, our guide to getting a fax number online covers the US and Canadian options.

Sending Marketing Faxes to Singapore? Check the Do Not Call Registry

Easy to miss: Singapore’s Do Not Call Registry, run by the Personal Data Protection Commission, has a No Fax Message Register: Singapore numbers listed there have opted out of marketing faxes. Under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), a business sending marketing messages to Singapore numbers is expected to check the registers first. The rules have exceptions and conditions we won’t try to summarise, so if you fax promotions into Singapore, read the PDPC’s own guidance before you send. The register is aimed at marketing messages, not at a signed contract or a form a clinic asked you to send.

One more legal note while we’re here: Municorn Fax and EveryFax are HIPAA compliant with a BAA, which is a US framework. Singapore’s data-protection law is the PDPA, and we don’t claim either product is certified against it.

Faxing in Person in Singapore

We looked for a chain that offers public faxing across Singapore, the way Staples or FedEx Office do in the US, and couldn’t confirm one. We couldn’t confirm that SingPost post offices send faxes either. So we’re not going to send you to a counter that might not have a fax machine: phone ahead, or fax from your phone.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I send a fax to Singapore from the US?
Dial 011, then 65, then the eight-digit Singapore number, for example 011 65 6XXX XXXX. With an online service like Municorn Fax you pick Singapore from the country list and type the eight digits.
Does Singapore have fax area codes?
No. All Singapore numbers are eight digits with no area code. Fixed lines start with 6.
How much does it cost to fax Singapore?
It depends on the service. When we checked in October 2026, FaxZero charged US$2.09 per fax up to 15 pages and GotFreeFax US$0.285 a page. Municorn Fax includes international faxing in its subscription (S$14.98 a week on the Singapore App Store). Watch for services that bill by the minute or count slow pages twice; our review findings name them.
Can I get a Singapore fax number?
Yes, from some services. Fax.Plus lists local +65 numbers, though our review found many countries need an extra fee and ID. Municorn Fax offers US and Canadian numbers only.
Can I send marketing faxes to Singapore numbers?
Only with care. Singapore’s Do Not Call Registry includes a No Fax Message Register, and businesses are expected to check it before sending marketing messages. Read the PDPC’s guidance first.
